Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller inked a three-year contract extension worth $51 million on September 9, 2022. The deal includes an $8.25 million signing bonus and an average annual salary of $17 million.
Waller's new contract comes after a breakout season in 2021, where he had 55 receptions for 665 yards and five touchdowns. He has quickly become one of the top tight ends in the NFL, earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors.
Prior to joining the Raiders in 2018, Waller played four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. In his career, he has accumulated over 200 receptions for 2,700 yards and 23 touchdowns. He is also known for his impressive blocking ability.
